Snorkels

Which snorkel is best for a Defender 90 and whch one is the easiest to fit? The Mantec one seems to be designed specifically for the vehicle but the Safari one appears to be very popular. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It realy depends on what look you want from it .
They are realy a much of a muchness regarding fitting they are all about the same .

Looking for one myself. the little bit of research i have done highlights the Safari not sure how good they are.

If laning get a wing top mounted one.

I broke my safari one and replaced with a 35 quid copy off of the bay, exactly the same fitment.

I always face the top backwards when playing in deep water, trees and bushes as they do snag.

Check it is actually sealed correctly when fitted.

What’s your thoughts on the copy one, apart from fitment compared to genuine Safari ? I’m thinking of getting one to replace a rusted out metal one.

Prce is now £57, maybe they made a mistake when I got mine as I only paid £36. But this is the ebay number for the same seller and part.

I found it to be the same quality , materials and fit as the Safari snorkel I broke.

I would buy another from them if this one broke.

I don’t mind £57 compared to the cost of a Safari. It’s good to get an opinion on one before I buy, so thanks for that.

@neilly I just looked it up and it’s £70 for a 200tdi Still reasonable though.
