Snorkel... cant find one anywhere :(

Hi everyone... i have sorted my Freelander 1.8 out and want to do some off roading next year so i have been looking for a Snorkel

After endless amounts of times going through previous threads on this forum i can not find a Snorkel ANYWHERE!!!!!!!

All the links do not lead to any for sale (discontinued or just dont exist anymore).

Any help would be great, Thanks

p.s also i know finding one for a 1.8 can be difficult so i dont mind getting a V6 or TD4 Snorkel and piping it through myself

What have you done to the engine so far. A 1.8 petrol will break under water before the snorkel even gets wet

I have ACF-50'd all the underneath of the car and under the bonnet which is the best you can buy and i use it on all my offroad bikes and rod bikes, i have used corrosion block waterproof grease on all the connectors including the coil pack and down the plug holes which again i use on all of my off road and road bikes, i have raised the engine and diff breathers also.

However i am looking to give the car a 2 inch lift so i can get some bigger wheels on with some spud picker tyres ha-ha

but i want a snorkel now to lift the air intake

The v6 is the only one I have seen. Can't be that hard to modify to fit the 1.8

where can i find the V6 snorkel???

Won't the doors fall off before the snorkel gets any use?

why do people have a downer on freelanders? they can do everything the big boys can do!!!!

there has been times ive seen discovery's get stuck and things like Suzuki X-90's fly past!!!!

LandRover Forum... yet everyone has a downer on the FreeLander... why? theres nothing wrong with them!!!! only the owners!!!!!

I'm a owner. I think their ****. The 4x4 system is a joke. That's why I'm moving to a 90 or L200

I think its fine... i think the defenders are a far worse off roader than the freelander!!!!

Defenders always end up on there roof! haha

Take a look at the Mantec group purchase thread of mine further down in this forum area. First group buy is the last 5 snorkels for a good while from Mantec.

Saying a defender is worse off road is crazy talk. You never no if your freelanders 4x4 is going to work

Lol has someone's doors actually fallen of yet. As a owner I defend them but the 4x4 seems a poor idea

Yes, hippos doors fell off, then he made a vid to try rescue the gaylander name, but we can all clearly see that it's got more door keeping on special effects than a star wars film

so 1 freelanders door has fell off and they are all damned for eternity??? more defenders have fell over yet they are still highly praised...
