Snatch 2a turning on convoy lights

Does anyone know how to turn the headlight switch anti-clockwise to turn on the convoy light settings, mine only seems to go clockwise for normal headlight use. It seems you would push that horizontal bar sideways on the switch to unlock the other side but it doesn't seem to move. I'm probably missing something very obvious but any help would be much appreciated.

The slidy bit is on the opposite side in that pic and you can see there's a raised collar on the switch body.

Does it pull in and out to get the extra positions , my Skoda does that

If you haven't worked it out already.

I can't remember the exact process, but you push in the button, then either slide the bar across and turn, or turn and push in the bar. They have a tendency to push the switch panel into the dash though, and if the collar isn't nipped up tight enough, the whole switch will just rotate in the dash. They're absolutely dog****.
