I finished the removal of 2" lift today by removing spacers from the back and adding new normal height shock absorbers (also the front new springs and absorbers). Everithing is fine except the back left side is sitting about 20mm below the right one. I have Nanocom. What is the procedure to recalibrate (set) the height?

Std height is shown in the Rave manual iirc 473mm +- 15mm. ctr of hub to bottom edge of wheelarch.

Fairly self explanatory, I usually start the car. open drivers window, adjust the car with all doors shut using nanocom thru drivers window and measure the height each side as I adjust on nanocom then save the settings , you have to turn ignition off for 60 secs. and then restart. tbh, I can never remember if it is press OK, beofre turning ignition off and wating 60 seconds or ignition off for 60 seconds and then presssing OK.

Cheers

Thanks, will try tomorrow!

Write settings then wait 60 secs before turning ignition off, exit the menus ujtill the start page on nanocom then unplug it, if you want to be very scrupulous you can use two jacks, one each side of the rear, adjust the heights with them as the body to be perfectly horyzontal and save those target heights even if the readings on nanocom are not 100% equal, important is that at the saved target heights the vehicle to stay well

In the nanocom menu i have found 2 possibilities to change the height. In utility/calibration you can raise or lower each side by pushing button then store. In setting menu you can do it by setting new target heights. I will try first jacking the car to the right level and set new target heights.

Job done. Both sides are now on 475mm.
Finally i have done it by using calibrating option and step by step set the correct height on both sides by raising or lowering as needed.
Thanks for the help!

Is how I normally do it, One of these days when bored, in the Summer, I might write a tutorial. Plus one for key code setting as watching the youtube vid is not so easy when doing it.

Cheers

One more question mate. What should be the height in the front and how to measure it? I have installed REB101340 springs (KYB) and find it low. I measure 480mm from middle of hub to wheel arch (no plastic on it) and the bump stop seems to be too close to the axle.

The Book of rave specifies 500mm iirc.

Worth taking a shufti at it, if you cannot find it then shout out and I will paste the info in here.

Cheers

The bump stop has only about 25-30mm clerance. Surely not good. Can the whinch, installed by previus owner, couse such difference? I planned to remove it as well as i do not need.

I would pull the winch off and see what difference it makes, but it does seem plausible the winch is making the front sit low.

In tolerance then...just...LOL, You still got a winch bumper fitted? they tend to be heavier than std bumpers.

Cheers
No it was installed with the standard bumper.
I guess i have made a misstake when ordered the springs as they are for pre-facelift model. Seems that for facelift model i need stronger ones? What i do not understand why it is heavier? A pre-facelift model also has same features like ace, sls, so should be the same weight.
Next time i will order stronger ones....
