Disco 2 SLS Compressor Filters

Are these available as replacement parts. I mean the foam and felt parts only. I can only find a complete part that costs about £40. I checked mine today when changing a bulb and the black foam one is crumbling a bit and the felt one is wet.

I don't know if this is any good, it's claimed to be "remanufactured", but at seven quid it's got to be worth a go.

I think that looks perfect @brian47 . Thanks I'll get one ordered. I found a piece of foam in the garage and made one for the moment.

TBH I think any old open cell foam will probably do unless you're in the Sahara......

Your probably correct. The felt part at the bottom is very dense and close fitting though. I'm just wondering now how mine got so wet given where its located. The rear sunroof drain pipe end is right next to the intake holes on the filter housing, but I would imagine that there wouldn't be a lot of water going down that.....??

The rain does come down through the pillar. I made a little hat for mine out of a 1 litre oil bottle to keep the worst off.
I've always thought it a weird notion to have water draining down through the pillars especially as the lamp connectors are there. But I've never heard of it causing any problems.
