Hi, I'm new to LandyZone and have a question..
I have a series 3. I have just put the gearbox back in and was wondering is the Slave cylinder push rod meant to have any play in it at all once mated to the engine? Also is is meant to be sticking out an inch or so or be back in the housing? I can't remember what it was like when I took it out. Thanks in advance for any advice,
Brendon.

Ive just replaced my clutch slave cylinder and it did poke out by approx half an inch. I then pushed on me new cylinder. The other end of the push rod has a plastic clip that keeps it in the bracket. As for play i expect that doesn't matter as long as the rod is firmly on the release bracket.
