silly fan question

right. the visco fan on my 19j blows air backwards toward the engine. question is should it do this or should it be blowing on the rad?

Yes it should be pulling air through from the front to the rear of the rad. You could imagine how hard it would have to work doing the reverse on something with the aerodynamics of a brick!
