So i do an oil change earlier on today, and take it for a short drive to check it's all grand.
Driving back through the city, sat in traffic and steam starts pouring from under the bonnet. I thought bloody great, the gaskets bloomin gone or something. Pulled over as soon as i could in a bus lane, pops the bonnet and immediately see coolant all over the engine bay.
Top rad hose had split (luckily as it could have been something worse).
I'd got some silicone sealant in the back and some gaffer tape so i bodged with everyone at the bus stop watching and managed to get home.
I've searched for some silicone hoses for the 1.8k but only found a post by blippie stating the freelander club had got someone to do the hoses, but website isn't what it used to be.
So does anyone know where i can get some silicone hoses from, preferably red?
