sidesteps fitment?

hi all, just a question incase anyone can give me some advise as to some side steps. mine is a 2001 5door and ive found some in ebay off a 2004 facelift 5 door...the seller says they think they will fit but before i travel miles does anyone know if they would?

Yep, you will need rivnuts though if you dont have them already

Make sure the brackets aren't rusted away. The brackets generally rust rapidly and completely unseen from above.

your riv nuts are 10mm I am sure

Fitting kits are available on e bay.

Before you put the brackets on get the local engineering company to make 5 copies. 4 for yourself and one to make further copies for people like me to buy them!

Got some steps in good nick and half decent brackets. Sanded the rust off and remade a bracket myself for one that was too far gone, at work as I work in maintenance and all is great.good idea tho nandad as il see how hard it is to make the complete bracket and knock a few up, il let you know if I do any good and post some pics
