Side Light Relay

Hi guys & girls
need a little info please i have a 200 tdi "93" on an L plate could any one please tell me where the relay for the dim-dip operation is.
you know the one, that puts more power to the side lights when ignition is switched on and then dips when you turn ignition off if side lights are left on.
haynes manual says on early models it is under steering wheel column i can see a yellow and a brown relay is it one of these.
as the disco was registered late some one said it may be on bulk head next to washer bottle,I have checked there but no relay exists there are only 3 or 4 block connectors.
advice please M O T soon!!!

disconnect one relay at a time and then check what doesnt work. thatll tell you.

If yer side lights work, and yer dipped and main beam it'll pass an mot, it doesnt need day dip to pass its mot good luck feller cartman690...
