Series windscreen on defender

Every time I go to landy shows I see a series3 windscreen and feel like buying one and sticking it on my landy before I buy one what else would I require I'm thinking roof obviously hinged brackets like on early 90/110s maybe back of truck cab obvious the wipers would have to come of a series anything else am I missing?

Measure, measure and measure again!
Many early 90's and 110's were fitted with Series in place of the split screens.
I can't remember if they required any mods though.

The screen frame is a different shape - the series screen is a rectangle, whereas the 90/110 onwards have a curved top to the frame. As you say, the roof is different to match.

And rear of truck cab will have to be changed as well then?

It's for a td5

I think the series truck cab is different at the back as well - have a look at the parts manuals, it might just be the filler bits at the bottom of the cab.

back of cab is different style if I see a back of truck cab series 3 cheap I'll get one just in case I'm going to make a defender series/tdi/td5/2.5 n/a mix
