hi
Just fitting some parabolic and found the shaft that holds the shocks is badly pitted.
Any ideas on how to repair?
The bush inside the new standard shock feels loose.
Part number nrc3891 nrc3892

I think the new ones are about £50+vat each. All of mine are in a similar condition so I bought a length of steel bar the same diameter and I will cut the old ones out and weld new rod in.

Thanks
Will weld some new steel on.
Most Series old stock parts arr getting stupid price now. I'm surprised they sell any!!

On my old 2a I cut off the old pin's and welded on bolts of the right size so that the bush sat on the plain part of the shaft. Then with a nylock nut and washers you can adjust to have the right preassure on the bush's and take up any wear.

That’s a part that is critical to the suspension. As posted they cost about £50 plus VAT. Common place to corrode is the pin for the shocker. Water n crud gathers in with the rubber bushes.
