Hi everyone I have a series 3 just noticed brake lights not working checked wires all good so changed switch still same problem removed switch moved piston in with fingers lights work fine I just cant get the correct adjustment on switch whilst my daughter pressed pedal down I can only see a very slight movement in pedal box is there suppose to be more movement it doesn't seem enough to push piston in screw switch in lights come on unscrew you cant get enough travel to work switch I'm a bit stumped cheers

From what i recall the cheap plastic switches are utter junk, either always on or always off

Hi switch seemed to work fine in my hand just wondering how much movement there is supposed to be when you push pedal down if you take switch out you can see the plate move out hardly moving in and out at all if it moved a bit more I think switch would work i will have a look tomorrow again cheers

Hi everyone I have just been out again took off brake pedal box cover where switch is located took off square panel there is a piece of spring loaded tab I think it may be broken does anyone know if it has a bend on it I assume it fits to brake pedal it is held on with split pins if so can you buy it looked on line but no you many thanks
