Hey dudes!
Found a series 1 for sale - 1958 - 2.5 Peugeot diesel engine...
£700
Rang the guy up,
he tells me that it smokes alot when you put your foot down.
... Could be the injector he said.
Starts easily, runs but no mot as of yet.
He assures me the chassis is good, bulkhead perfect and footwells ok.
So i'm going to look at it tomorrow.
I have no experience with series 1s and peugeot engines.
Its £700, which is what interested me originally.
What do you all think?
Is a Peugeot 2.5td a popular conversion for series 1s?
I already have a series 2, but this seems to be a bargain waiting to be had!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
