I'm pretty sure the OSF caliper is seized on my 92 Defender. I have horrendous brake judder and if I stamp on em it pulls left. Also the rear of the OSF disc is only partly being braked on.

Does this sound like a seized caliper, and is it best to simply replace, or are they easily unseized?

Also I need to replace the rocker gasket on my 200tdi (genuine Defender TDI) do I need any sealant or is just the gasket? Also what's the torque settings of the rocker cover bolts?

Have you tried removing the pads and giving it a squirt of WD40, then using a bar to force the pistons back into the caliper?

If you can get them to go back repeat a few times and they should hopefully free up,

Remember to put the pads back in before you jump on the brakes to force them out each time!

I just use a cork gasket on my rocker cover. Torque to about 8 ft/lbs.

Calipers cheap as chips to buy new, wd40 wont do the piston seals any good.
Tdi engines have rubber rocker gaskets, you will also need the little d shaped seal for each end, use a bit of silicone on the d seals.
