Hi, I was cleaning the beast today and noticed for the first time this little gap! Water leaks in during rain/screenwash/any other excuse. What would be a good way to fill this crack with a semi permanent sealant. Bearing in mind I'll need a full new windscreen soonish due to a mini chip or two.
I'm not replacing immediately as I'm looking at getting a full heated windscreen which is mega money.

Should it not have a cover thingy there?

Any sikaflex type sealer should do ... smaller cracks can be done with 'Seek and Seal' ...

Good quality black sealant from builders supply, It was also recommended to wipe over age/ozone cracked glass seals like safari windows etc. use rubber gloves/marigolds for wiped finish.
