scorched fuse box!!!!

ive recently been getting through all my to do list on my 97 dse! have got quite a bit done, manly supid little jobs, but have come across lately one of the heater fans is not working(drivers side).

ive had the bottom dash panel out and had a look but cant see anything major wrong unless i take it out, but when i checked the fuse box the first relay(nearest the slam panel) for the fans its got a bit of scorching to the fuse box and i took the connector off from underneath and one of the pin connectors is slightly black.

does it need a new fuse box? Fan?

Anyone know a rough idea whats caused this and any ideas on sorting this would be great, great help!!
