When you take the body off to see the state of the chassis!!! Just in process of taking bits off the landy to do a chassis swap and although I knew it had some dodgy places, looks soooo much worse when you get in naked in full daylight!! Lots of flakey metal, bubbling here and there - not to mention the odd hole or 2 . . . . on the rear crossmember, suspension mounts, forward of the rear axle (the bend up to go over the axle) - i'll put some pics on shortly . .

Been looking on fleabay for a replacement chassis - and kinda get the impression, might as well go and put a galv one one for that few extra notes - at least you know what you're getting I guess

nowt wrong with that chassis! sand blast, paint it up plate the holes good as new.
