Not at all, my dear Minty. I was merely pointing out to the newbie that it is customary to declare ones interests in Landrovers, when you join a Landy site, in slightly more detail.
As for the alleged spamming, surely this could be resolved by only allowing senior members to post links, except with the prior permission of the mods?
I am sure that one of the programming wizz kids could tell which flag needs to be set???

Dunno bout the senior members only posting links tho... some newbies post links to photobucket (we like piccies).. unless its well controlled like you say with mods, ......maybe you could be appointed the link watcher... as Mr Si and Mr Ratty sometimes have much to do.....when some peeps come on ere with fake ids etc...and start sendin PM's left, right and center.
