Hi,

My Landy (TD4 "04") had to have its battery disconnected. Now the Sat Nav is not working properly. I've searched about on forums and google etc and can't find out anything. Local Landy agent says it needs re-collaborating, and refered me to handbook. I have followed the handbook to the letter, but its still not working. It talks to you, it lets you put in your destination, it says its calculating route. Then checking cd flashes on screen for ever, and it says to you "your route is being calculated". But after an hours drive its still flashing. Interestingly if you go off your route, it tells you "new route being calculated". Then nothing happens except for the flashing cd.

Ahh!
Don't use it enough to buy a newer disk, or separate sat nav. But now its not working we miss it.

Any ideas?
Thanks:confused:
All the fuses are checked and are all good.

Why did you need to disconnect the battery? If it was a Landy (or a n other really) dealer who diagnosed and 'fixed' the issue, then take it to them to fix it properly ..;)

The battery was disconnected by local garage. The car wasn't starting and they fitted a new diesel pump.

Local Landy garage says they charge £85 p/hr and say they don't want to charge that for something that just needs collaborating. I agree its not worth £85 + for something that only gets used now and again.

Just thought someone on here would have the necessary knowledge and experience to help! I've read about other sat nav probs being sorted on here.

I suppose I could go and talk to the Landy dealer again, if nobody knows here.

thanks
