Rusty Boot Floor

Hello

A quick shout out to anyone with a Rangie who has been struck down with rust, I know its a rare thing rust on a Land Rover so I dont expect anyone here to have come across it but here goes.

After trying to figure out why the Rangie was so wet in the back I decided to rip out the carpets to dry them out, on doing so I found 3 rather large holes in the floor, see picture below,







Has anyone here had the rear of theirs patched up or am I looking at a new floor. I know that the floors for Rangies are no longer available but I beleave a Disco MK1 floor will fit with a little work.

far as i'm aware you will have to get 2 disco floors and piece em up, or you could repair/fab the ourer plates then bolt a plate in the back. there are threads about this on the site shows how to do it and what to use

Take the carpet trims off the wheelarch's while its stripped as i found further holes where the arch joins the 1/4 panel
