RRC rear door

Hello all. I wonder if you might be able to help me?

My off side rear door top is sitting proud of the seal and is wobbly. I suspect the dreaded rust and therefore I think I need a new door. Do you know where I can get a new one or, more likely, a good second hand one? I've checked Ebay. Are there any good breakers that specialise in RRCs that you know of?

Martin toole in southampton, he is on ebay as range rover recycling or summit. one of these guys will give you his number :)
 
PML , yeah just a bit lol although the dents in my rangie disagree!

Didnt know anyone was that close, what the spec on ur bobtail? do you drive anything else?

If you are refering to the channel the glass runs in, it is bolted into the door and is replaceable, no need to buy whole door, and maybe one of the bolts coulda fallen out or come loose, you should be able to slip the rubber on the top of the door up enough to get a torch shon in there to have a look.
 
Hi Fett, a p38. A glutton for punishment, it is my third. I have also had 3 classics throught the years, and one depart from Rangies, dare not meantion what it was here!!!!
 
Why did you move away from classics?, let me know if you ever need a hand matey.

Hi! No, I didn't know he even existed. Is he any good? Does he do most things for bodywork and mechanical? Might need my sills doing soon too.

He is very good, been going for years. Does most things machanical, welding etc. Not to sure re bodywork. Sells parts over the counter, usually from stock and he is local. He can be a a bit pricey, but you can haggle and he wont rip you off!!!! Mine is going up there on friday....joy!!!

Fett, i left the classic because i was offered an Overfinch Autobiography p38 some years ago, at a very resonable price, couldn't say no! and what a great car that was, so wish i had never sold it.
