I've got a '72 rolling chassis in excellent condition sitting in the drive with knackered 2 door body. Back was so bad (rotten / previous bodged) I've already chopped it off and dumped the lot as nothing, not even odds and sods, worth saving other than upper tailgate.
I could make it into a pick-up but will probably keep looking for another 2 door shell to restore at a later date.
In the mean time I want to fit an alternative body both to keep it on the road and a bit of fun.
Chassis and running gear has to be kept 100% standard to abide by DVLA rules to be classed as rebody and thus avoid BIVA also to allow refitting of a 2 door shell as and when I find one.

What I'm after is something like this but for a Range Rover -

Anyone know of a link to anything similar showing chassis details for a RRC. Dimensions not needed as I can measure my own chassis.

Thanks.

the leyland parts book for the correct year may be alot of help.

I also have a 72 RRC I am restoring and I bought one of the above books, all be it a bit oily, for £10 of ebay :)
