RR sport electric gremlin

Hi All
2007 RR sport 3.6V8 diesel
Having electrical issues hazard lights on whilst driving and radio system malfunction on screen after all this rain though lift the passenger side carpet to see if floor was wet but it was bone dry.
However i did find this can wire just hanging by the fuse bracket but can not find where it goes too?
The loom runs across the bulkhead below the heater blower towards the centre console.
Anyone know what its for?

All I would say is for some reason it’s a twisted pair, where does the red go

Indeed canbus wires are always twisted together

as @marjon has mentioned , see if u can trace it back of where the wire goes

maybe someone had issues with there canbus and ran a wire replacement .., might be an idea remove ur radio etc to see if u can find it

I’ve got one of these that helped me trace wires when I was looking for certain wires within my D3, clip the sensor onto the ends of the wires then use the other tool to trace it within a loom

Turns out it is for the drivers seat control module
It is a negative polarity would it just need to be connected to any negative on the body?
