RR 2.5D Tow Car?

Morning all,

I'm cmpletely new to this forum and currently dont own a land Rover. I'm looking for a good comfortable tow car capably of pulling a horse trailer and fancy a P38 range Rover 2.5 Diesel.

Can anyone pass on thier exeriences of this model in terms of buying, owning and using as a two car?

Hi the p38 diesel is an awesome towcar.
I own a 1998 dse with 89000 on the clock, My wife has an ifor williams 510 horsebox that she ocationally tows her horses in.

The car copes with with towing realy efortlessy,

I chipped my p38 and fitted a k and n airfilter and this improved the performance imencely. I get at least 25 miles to the gallon when towing the trailer and about 32 when not.

k and n filter
brand new injector pump,lift pump,clutch and turbo charger.
If the car needed anything then money has been spent on it straight away.
