Here is my 300tdi when I bought it 7 months ago





And here she is now!!!!!!



Yes still stock as rock. But I've had to (thanks to the bloke who sold it to me; Geoff from Redditch, not being 'honest as the day is long' as he prmoised me) fit new A-frame ball joint and bushes, new trailing arm lower link bushes, new sills, new battery, new lift pump and injector pipes, new glow plugs, service, new front bumper, new indicator stalk, new drive members, new tyres, new.....sob.........
My own fault, don't trust no f***er!
Still, I do love her and she only has some welding left to do now to get her up to scratch as she's not as rotten as most are. Daily driver so only mods are a dash cam, A/T tyres, heated seat covers (highly recommended) and DAB stereo and a sub in the boot
Apologies, this is a dull thread, I aint go no winches or big knobbly tyres.................

Cheers Geoff, even though she is a bog standard Disco I get a lot of comments from people in work (We are a cycling loving, bunny hugging bunch of ecologists) as most people have boring stuff to drive. But my workmates 62 plate 110 is the one we all drool over (when his missus lets him drive it to work!)

Nice tidy Disco, looking very good for its age.

Looks very smart, don't get yourself down, just gradually systematically tackle one job at a time. Consider yourself very lucky, it could've been a lot worse!

Cheers im getting there slowly. Bit of welding over xmas and ill be pretty much there!
