Hi,
does anyone here have experience with fitting a Roewe V6 (Chinese made by SAIC) engine for a V6 Freelander?

I have a 2001 model and on it's rebuilt engine it is leaking coolant internally. Rather than sourcing another engine I am seriously looking at the Roewe option. I've sent some technical Qs to the seller but I don't think they'll be able to answer me....

Does anyone here have experience with these or knows what wont fit from that engine on a v6 Freelander 2001 model? For instance on the photos, the engine oil sump looks different in that it's doesn't seem to have the mounting for the engine oil cooler at the side like the v6 Freelander sumps have. Should I simply use the Freelander V6 sump then? Will all the bolt hole locations for the sump be the same or will there be issues?
Cheers everyone.
Jase from Australia.
