Hi all,
when i got my '94 disco 300tdi a few weeks ago, it was given to me with the doors being locked/unlocked with the key in drivers door. It did have two single-button keyfobs but no batteries in them.
The central locking is working ok and the LED on the dash flashes rapidly for a few seconds and the settles down on arming, as described in the manual.
So, the question is, do i risk fitting batteries in the fobs and trying it by remote or not? What i dont want to do is activate some sort of immobiliser and bugger things up, or have the alarm going off all night
I have read this here http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/coding-keyfobs-scratch-91739.html which explains any coding that might be needed so thats ok.
Chance it or not??
