hi just bought a disco td5 and one problem is that when putting in reverse you have to push back on the gear leaver to get the lights to go on , im guessing its the light switch so 1 , is it easy to get at , 2 . is it adjustable 3 where is it located . its a manual 2.5 thanks for your input

u must see it if u crawl under the vehicle from the left side ... it's in the gearbox extension housing(close to the output shaft,a bit under it) ... u'll see the wiring and the plug...it's not adjustable, u better put a new one.

No, u have to unplug it and use a proper spanner cos it's "screwed" in the housing...use a new washer too.

had a look today , is it above the drive shaftcoupling ?? what i have seen looks to be the right one and just sussing it out before i buy one
It's only one switch there...if u meant prop shaft
