Does anyone know possibly wht might cause my rev counter to bounce around like a stripper on speed??
No alteration to my speed, not jerky atall or kangarooing, does it it any gear at any speed, and at worst it can bounce about within a thou revs??

Iv got a vid I'm trying upload, but it's being abit bob

Thanking kindly :D

Is it triggered from the alternator? If so could be a loose belt, a loose connection or even early warning of the alternator failing.

Mind you I don't really understand agricultural machinery !!

Mine did this until I fixed the connection on the back of the alternator.
Its the single wire with a push-on connector, I think it's an orange wire if I remember correctly.
Just squeezed the connector with pliers to make it a tighter fit, job done, been fine ever since.

No - but if it's that good... enjoy!

Its the single wire on the back of the alternator Deasy, it just needs taking off clean up the spade and nip the female spade connector to give a slightly tighter fit and job jobbed.

We all like a tight fit ;)
