Has anyone had any joy getting service history restamped for a range rover recently? I rang the local dealers the other week (James Edwards of Brock) to see if they could re-issue a misplaced history log.
They told me that they could see that my car has had a history log from new until around 2008 but they couldnt reissue as the computers weren't interlinked between dealers etc.
Are they just fobbing me off or has anyone managed to retrace lost history? I'd even be glad to pay a few quid to get it back. I'm selling the car at the moment and it doesn't look too great without any history to back it up even though I know its in fine health and had the all clear from a local independent.
Any help much appreciated.
