The front wheel bearing on my Series has a substantial amount of play in it. Undone all the bolts around the hub but it will only pull off about 5mm before it won't come any further. There are some small allan key bolts in the very end of the hub but they are very small... Can't imagine they do much...

Any ideas? Off out in the thing tonight and would really like to eliminate the play before I leave.

Turn the hub to "Unlock" Undo the Allen bolts around the bit that turns to select "Lock/Unlock", pull it out. Watch out for the little springs don't get lost. Behind it, there's is a split pin through the nut that needs removing, that's a bit fiddly, undo the nut, it's only finger tight. That's all there is to it. Re-assembly is just the reverse. Don't forget grease and sealant to outer housing.
I was a bit scared of taking them apart, but the Warn ones are a piece of ****, dead easy.

I know this is resurecting an old fred... but ta very much spydie.... Kai was having exactly the same problem this afternoon!
