Remote key not working

Just had my key refurbished and it doesn’t work, the red light comes on but nothing happens. I have a 52 plate td5 any help would be much appreciated.

Did it work before that? ... were microswitches soldered to it?

Thank you for your reply, It did before the rubber came off and the unlock microswitch came off, which is why I sent it away to be refurbished.

Then those who refurbished it might have done something wrong

Thats what I am thinking to, but I am having trouble contacting them haha.

How do you know you actually got the correct fob back? There's no way I'd send mine off. After all they have your fob, and your address. It doesn't take a genius to work out what someone dishonest could do with that.
