Hey guys, ive been considering getting a remap done on my 02 defender, td5 110, ive looked at what i believe to be all the options, i.e, td5 alive (and the likes), local companies, buying a nanocom and loading a remap onto it, but all of the above are relatively speaking, expensive for someone whos in collage and has no steady income so im considering this, buying a nanocom and learning how to do the map myself, the questions i have are this:
Is it insanely impossible to do with no real mechanical background?
Is there good resources out there to learn how to do it?
Has anyone here done it and what were the results/problems?
Im not a complete idiot, and i learn fast, and i wouldnt be one to half arse it, id most likely spend ages researching and learning how to do it before i gave it a go, so do ye think its a good i dea or not?
