Recovery Points?

Hi,

I am new to off-roading and I am in the process of preparing my landrover discovery 1. I am wondering where is the best place to attach my recovery points to at the rear. I am hoping the D-shape hoop and bolts will be adequate for the job. Any advise will be appreciated.
 
I used some 6mm plate to stop the plough :D

I like the idea of this, but I 'rescued' a tow bar off a Rangie classic, the same that was on older Disco's, so mud should just go over it. I just need to grind the bolts off so I can get it apart and a mates going to shot blast it and put a primer coat on it so I can hammerite it.

I've also heard of people altering the angle of the arms that go and attach further back down the chassis so that it does not hang as low, and then do the 5-6mm plate cover like you did to act as a skid pad incase you touch down

Then my mate is getting my original 'plough'.
