Rear Wiper

My rear wiper recently stopped working, so did the rear washer. I checked all the fuses (all OK) and then removed the rear tailgate lining to discover a couple of chaffed wires that had rubbed bare on the strut bracing the rear wiper motor.

I've taped up the bare wires and now have rear wash but still no rear wiper.

Using a meter I get an intermittent 12 volt reading when the wiper switch is on and I can hear the relay working.

Any one got any suggestions on what to do next please?

same problem here. although mine works sometimes (very rarely). i will check tomorow and see if there is a poor connection on idm

Have you tested the motor itself? If power's getting through and the relay's ok then maybe that's where the prob is, can you get a 12v supply directly to it to test?
