Rear Wiper

I think I need to replace my rear wiper blade on n my l322
Is it the same deal as a p38, open the tailgate as the wiper is pointing straight down?

Unhelpfully RAVE doesn't say how to "position rear wiper arm" !!

Neither does Owners Handbook !!

Try it and see.

can't you just turn the ignition off when the wiper is pointing down. Not sure if even this gives enough movement on the arm to remove the blade though.

If it's like the 38's front wipers they return when the keys is turned off...

Just open tailgate

yes, this is exactly what you do, then you can lift up and remove. just need to time it !

Sorry all, I miss read the post, I thought it was the motor you were replacing not just the blade oops.

On the P38 you just open the tailgate and that stops the wiper,is the L322 different? If it is I guess that's progress.

When I did mine it was a motor repair and it automatically parked itself so I just put the wiper back on in line with the clean bit on the window.
Much easier cos the rear spoiler is off.

When it came time to replace mine, a friendly, very skinny-wristed, but extremely determined ex-Para working at Halfrauds did mine...eventually! He was bloody minded and didn't give-in. I didn't realise the wiper would stop by opening the tailgate..I'll have a go myself when the time comes to replace it again.
