Hi All tried the search but could not find anything relevant. I've encountered a problem on a 4 dr 2006 hippo. Basically the window goes up and down normally as usual, the only problem is that it stops about 2/3 inches short from the top leaving it open.
The first time this happened I thought 'oh :censored: time for new cables' but then i tried re operating and it went down and up normally and stopped short again making a clicking noise.

Is there a re calibration or anything of the sort for the side windows?

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the try mate :) something tells me the cable is end-o-life and can't take the torque to raise the window fully

Thanks Mate, I'll give it a shot tonight. haven't dismantled yet...did it require a lot of swearing to put it back on track?

Update: Opened door card, cable was winding and unwinding against the motor's roller and both the cable retainers were out of their holders. fixed all in place but to no avail. is it possible that the cable is snapped?

it had actually kinked it so I brought a new regulator of ebay and it is more simples to put on than the front, remember if you do replace it put it on but do not tighten the bolts fully wind it up and down a couple of times the tighten up that way the window settles into position. hope this helps

Thanks a mil guys. basically decided to kill it for the moment as the motor seemed a bit fidgety to take off and check
