Rear heated screen and wiper motor

Hi, I have a 1988 90 that currently has no rear heated screen or wiper, I have bought a door that comes with both, is it possible to connect both into the system and what about switchgear etc.

Do you still have the switches in the dash for them?
Then see if the wiring still runs to the right hand side of the door as you open it.
The heated screen uses a relay which is behind the dash as well.

There aren't any switches or controls for either, do you know if it's possible to add them and if so is it a diy job cos electrics really aren't my strongpoint!
