I have a 1984 B Reg series 3 and I need to replace the rear brakes and hub seals but there seem to be multiple versions on padockspares. Any idea the right ones for a 1984 series 3?

Ok, I think these are the parts you need but I advise that you talk to Paddocks first to make sure as there were some funny goings on with 80s Land Rovers.
Shoes: STC2796 (10" diameter).
Hub seal: RTC3511
Lock washer 217353
Gasket: 231505
O ring: RTC3516. You might not need this, depends on when yours was manufactured.

hub seals run on a land that gets worn and may or may not be a separate componnent. Looking at it may not tell you as its a close fit. If its not replaceable clean it up and use flour paper to polish the wear out and see if you can get the new seal located to run to one side of the wear ridge. The worst mistake is to take a chisle to i thinking it comes off when it doesn't!. I've found the neoprene seasl to be much better then the leather, but the leather can cope with wear a bit better but both are ruined by any raised wear.
