Hi does anyone know how long you have to get a recall done I have recently bought a 54 plate vogue but unsure if any recalls have been done I'm about to enquire but was wondering if anyone knew about a time limit ?
Regards
Paul

They dont call them recalls anymore, they call them service campaigns or some ****e! As far as I know, they can be done whenever. If you phone LR head office with your chassis number, they'll tell you. The main one on earllier L322s was a prop shaft that wasnt flexing as it should ( or something like that) and ended up shearing splines. They replaced mine in 2008, when the recall was announced in 03-04 If I remember....
Chances are it will have been done, unless the owner was lazy. Its free after all, and usually just done when they service the vehicle...

Cheers pal guy salmon have already had £4000 off me after a service ! Love my rangie but now know what people mean when they talk about running costs and too add my display has packed up !

samdog theres few posts on here where can get the display fixed from something like £180 or £200, do a search.... i'm looking for a vogue as we speak and ive seen had loads of pixels missing

I think the QO41 recall was for diesels only (I stand to be corrected if wrong). My 03 TD6 had the new driveshaft fitted in Sept 09, so you should have no problem getting it done on your 54 plate if it's still outstanding. I just phoned my local dealer with the chassis number and they confirmed what had/hadn't been done for me over the phone.
