Reading a few mags of late and somuut struck me.....

...My S3 bonnet dont look like those...

Where as all I've seen have a nice rounded front edge mine is sharp...

Anyone know what it is?

The bonnets with the curved front edge are known as deluxe bonnets. I believe they were optional on SIIIs. I wander if they were optional on SII/SIIAs too?
 
dont know but for some reason I can't fathom anything but a razor edge looks silly on a 2/2a......doesn't matter so much on a 3 cause you dont notice anything but the bloody silly plastic grill.......!

Wrong, deluxe bonnets look soft and flabby, right about the stupid grill though.
 
pah .... the razers are the proper landrover ones :) fer series 2 any way,
i have a mint ser 3 delux ere fer £60 or reasonable offers if any ones interested , as fer plastic grills.. :( puke
 
My mrs says the same and wants me to mek a 'proper' grill outa metal.
I've got some mesh here at work, its made from 8mm round wire and its feck off looking strong stuff, I was gonna tek the **** and mek one with it, but knowing her she'd like it.
