ratling brakes

hi . i have ad a annoying rattle on my 300 tdi . then sussed it was from front wheel . then sussed if u kept ya foot on brake pedal lightly it didnt rattle put new springs on pads other day still rattles only on bad roads which this island as loads of . while pads were out got me boy push on brake pedal n only one piston come out . so can anyone tell me is me caliper shot n if a caliper repair kit would sort it thanks steve

Is it one side that sos not come out? I could be that it needs bleeding.

sounds like maybe a caliper piston is siezed?

thanks will try bleedin n also got some new pads n pins comin so hopefully it will cure the problem fingers crossed

pads won't make a difference with your pistons.

piston clean n free just sussed now halfords disk pads few mill smaller then orignals . new pads in no ratling .and to think i payed 28 quid for those ones as needed them that day lol

There is a little spring that needs replacing sometimes, thus keeping them in place without rattling, the new pads are possibly a better fit so the noise should stay away.
