Hi i have a range rover vogue not starting due to the petrol pump being nackerd so the rac man said I Baught a new pump and put it in and guess wat still not working so had a look on YouTube and thay showed you how to power it up by sticking a wire in the relay slot and to the direct live and it worked but take it off and it dies but I noticed the fuel gauge was reading empty so I took it back out fixed it and put it back in now it's reading quarter of a tank witch is about right but now the pump not working at all even when I connect the live wire really starting to **** me off now like any suggestions? Immobiliser maybe? And where the hell does the snakey bit of the pump clip onto as it came off when I was messing around with the pump so it's just lying in the bottom of the tank in the uther side but looks like a clip on the bottom and spring loaded at the top so I am assuming it clicks into some where but I cannot for the life of me see or feel anywhere inside the tank please please somebody help me
