Have not been on here for quite a while now but I now have a 09 Range Rover Sport 3.6 V8. I lent it to my son to go back to London from Cornwall while I repair his car. On the M4 doing 70ish it just lost power and a message came up saying "Engine System Failure" so he pulled over onto the hard shoulder and checked to see what was wrong, the engine never stopped. He started going again and the same thing happened when he got to about 35 to 40mph so he stopped again and turned the engine off. He then notice the service message said Serv -500 or something similar. He started the engine again all seemed fine until he got to 35 to 40mph again when it lost power again so this time he called it a day and I got it recovered to Rockar at Bromley By Bow.
The latest from them is it needed a software update and a service.
Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
