Hi all re my drivers doors glass, I have removed the door card and fond that all three rivets to metal plate have broken and now the door glass has come away from its runners . to get the door glass back on the runners can I take two blue plastic bits on the mec arms that go into the runners off, fix them in the runners then clip them back onto the mec arms ? would it be better to re rivet or use nut and bolts ? I do hope all that make sense .

I cant say about the blue bits, but most use nut and bolt instead of rivets, easier for next time.

You can but I found it easier to leave them on the arms and wedge the glass in the door and fit them to the runners.

I would say eaasier to leave them on the arms but unclip them from the glass
I am finding it hard to line up the runners with the arms to get them back on

I didn't say it was easy but either is fitting the blue guide's,refitting the arns and locating the retaining clips
Job all done , I did find it easier to fit the blue bits then re attach to runners . what worked for me . Thank for the help
