Can anyone help before I dive in and change everything. Engine not firing on 2.5 diesal . Suspect fuel pump or related matter. Are ther any considerations before changing fuel pump in respect of relays, fuses etc.
Any advice would be helpful.

thanks
JB

Thanks for the reply
I think all is well in that department. I did change the batteries in my key remote and I am wondering if something has gone wrong with the engine ecu not allowing the pump to work. I sthis a possiblitiy
Thanks JB

I have read another thread where the engine turned over but did not start, I believe that was something to do with the Becm and engine ECU not talking to each other. I'm new to the P38 so still have a lot to learn.

Try a search on the site for the above thread or get it plugged in to read the fault codes.

Hi that is the prob i had when the cars battery kept going flat, you first need to check the lift pump is working by taking the feed pipe off the fuel filter and turn the ignition on and make sure you get a good flow of fuel out if there.
