Hi all. I have just bought myself a 2013 RR HSE sport. 3.0 Diesel. low mileage FSH, my issue is when I accelerate sharpish I get followed by a plume of white smoke
Any suggestions / ideas whet the problem could be is greatly appreciated.

Take it back, there is a problem with the turbo on the 3ltr diesel, Landrover know all about it. It is I believe related to the oil return from the turbo. It was apparently too low in the sump so that when the little turbo (of the 2) which is meant to reduce lag during heavy accel spools up it seems to create so much a vacuum oil is actually sucked back up the return through the seals and blown out the exhaust without ever going through the engine, hence the whiteish colour of the “smoke screen”
There is a landrover tech bulletin and a mod which I believe involves fitting a non return valve in the oil return line and moving the return higher up the sump where it can’t suck up oil.
Hope this helps
