Can anyone help me I have a range rover 4.0 HSE automatic 2001 engine number 58do5954A
I have a problem with the gear box every now and again I get intermiting gears sometimes reserve doesnt work or sometimes drive doesnt work , its like the gears are not selecting and the engine revs away but the gear does not select . The problem is getting worse and the oil is not leaking and has been changed but I still have the problem the oil was burned at its worse .
someone has said it maybe the gearbox ecu but I need to find out the part number if anyone knowes it ?????
or has any other ideas the dash board just flashes up gear box fault !!!!!
the cruise control also does not work someone said it could be the ecu as the gearbox ecu also controls the cruise control !!!!
