Hi, I'm sure lots on here will be able to help, you've come to the right place! But we need some more info first!
What engine is it? Is it turning over but not firing? What have you been able to check so far?
Which range rover have you got?

Title is 3.5EFi auto.
More detail required as kermit says - as in what happens when you try to start it.
Is the battery in good condition and fully charged with a battery charger?
Does it have an immobiliser fitted - either factory or aftermarket (mine's an 86 3.5EFi auto & they didn't come with factory fit immobilisers)
The gear selector lever on these must be in 'N' or 'P' or the start inhibitor switch on the gearbox will prevent the starter motor operating.

I would also advise getting the factory workshop manual as this contains pretty much all you need to know including how to take virtually everything apart incl gearbox & the body.
Has comprehensive tests for troubles.
Too early for the RAVE & mine is a big thick book SRR660ENWM Petrol & diesel models 1986 to 1989. Not cheap but mine has paid for itself many times over. Shop around on the internet for best price.
ETA The earlier Haynes is much cheaper - I have one - but not a patch on the genuine & many jobs are just headed 'take to a dealer' so it's a 'Don't buy'.

Hi the engine terns over very well all the ingnition lights come on it has aftermarket alarm fitted with wires disconnected I’ve changed the plugs and ht leads and it’s in park

Are you getting a spark at the plugs? After trying to start, have you checked a plug to see if it's wet?
Has the immobilizer been fully removed? Depending on what it is, it could be isolating the injectors

Check the main body ground on the A point drivers side, you have to drop the lower dash panel, it can cause issue..

Ignition amplifier is another, do you have spark?

Any fuel getting to the fuel rails?
